About Jobies

A Great Place to Learn and Grow

Providing young women the opportunity to learn values and skills while maximizing their potential.

Founded in 1920, Job’s Daughters International is a girl’s leadership organization with members in the United States, Canada, Australia, the Philippines, and Brazil.

Members have fun together at activities such as swimming parties, dances, family picnics, slumber parties, miniature golf, marching in parades, and so much more. In Job’s Daughters you will make new friends that will last a lifetime.

Job’s Daughters perform service projects to help their community and the less fortunate. We actively support the Hearing Improvement Kids Endowment (HIKE) Fund, which purchases hearing assistive devices for hearing impaired children.

Members of Job’s Daughters can qualify for various scholarships that are offered on a state and national level. We also gain valuable leadership experience, serve as part of a team, and learn democratic principles as they run their own meetings, decide their own activities, and plan their own events.

In short, Job’s Daughters International offers the qualities that today’s young women want and need from organizations that earn their commitment: fun, friendship, helping others, and the chance to learn organizational and leadership skills.

I'm a Tween

A fun and exciting group of girls who love life and learning about our place in the world.

Be a leader in your community, make friends that will help you reach your goals.

Mrs. Mick saw parallels between the challenges women faced as they fought to be accepted as equals, and those trials told in the Old Testament Story of Job. As Job was true and steadfast to his faith throughout the story, and never faltered, women would need to be determined in their fight to become equal participants in society, despite the inevitable setbacks they were sure to face. She was fond of Job 42:15, “And in all the land were no women found so fair as the Daughters of Job; and their Father gave them inheritance among their brethren.
